CLASS OF 2015
Schinnell Leake
Schinnell Leake is the Founder and Executive Director of Extra-Ordinary Birthdays Inc., the only non-profit organization that throws individualized birthday parties for homeless children to make them feel loved and valued. Through the customized celebration of kids’ birthdays, the Extra-Ordinary Birthdays team creates moments of positivity for children and families; memories that’ll be woven into the patchwork of their lives. The team gives credit of these birthday parties to the children's parents, which strengthens the parent-child bond. This year, they’ve had a record number of parties.
CLASS OF 2014
Deborah Snyder
Deborah is the President & CEO of Operation Renewed Hope Foundation, a non-profit that helps to eliminate homelessness among veterans. By working alongside landlords, transportation organizations and rental agencies to provide quality housing and supportive services, the organization aims to break the cycle of homelessness and ultimately, prevent it from happening altogether. Each year, Operation Renewed Hope Foundation helps more than a hundred veterans and their families in the DC metro area who are experiencing homelessness.
CLASS OF 2012

Because You’re Worth It
Why we created Women of Worth
Women Making a Difference
Women of Worth was born out of the iconic L'Oréal Paris tagline, "Because You're Worth It," honoring the intrinsic worth of everyday women inspiring others and creating positive change in their communities.
How it Works
Recognize 10 Women
Each year, ten individuals will be named Women of Worth honorees, each receiving $25,000 to support their charitable cause, mentorship from the L’Oréal Paris network and a national platform to share their story. L’Oréal Paris will celebrate all ten of our 2022 Women of Worth at the end of the year. Stay tuned for more details.
An Annual Tradition
Celebrating 17 Years
One of the ten Women of Worth honorees will be chosen by popular vote to be named this year’s National Honoree, receiving $25,000 toward their cause for a total grant of $45,000.
