While makeup can be fun, I mostly use it to touch up blemishes and enhance my natural features — I do not have the skilled hands of an influencer. For that reason, I try to take care of my skin so that I don’t need too much foundation or full-coverage concealer. To know me is to know that I take my skin care routine very seriously. 

I started using this moisturizer in mid-August when I ran out of an acne-control system I had been using. Naturally, I was wary of making the switch because my old moisturizer was working just fine, but I was curious about this formula once I got a whiff of its intoxicating scent. 

First, the texture is so soft and fluffy — I’m talking, if moisturizer was soufflé soft. It feels the same on your face as it does in your hands. It’s lightweight, non-greasy, absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves my face feeling smooth and bouncy. I especially love that it doesn’t pill when I layer on SPF and foundation, which I’ve experienced with some other face creams. And despite its name, I use it morning and night and it rounds out both routines nicely.

As someone with large pores and textured skin, I’m constantly on the hunt for something that can smooth out my complexion, which is why I was so excited when I got my hands on this new vitamin C serum. After testing it out, I found that not only did this serum make my skin appear brighter and more radiant, but it also diminished the appearance of my large pores. 

While it has a thicker consistency upon application, it quickly absorbs into the skin without a greasy or tacky feeling. This serum will definitely be a staple in my routine and I’m excited that I get to bring my summer glow into the fall season.

Needless to say, this mascara is perfectly ideal for a makeup minimalist like me, especially as I navigate the transition into the warm shades and pretty trends of fall.

As someone who can’t can’t — and won’t — leave the house without a little product on my lashes, I’ve tried a lot of mascaras. Some led to clumping, others led to brittle lashes and the worst ones smudged under my eyes before the day was even done. 

Since I discovered this fan-favorite mascara, I have never looked back. Summer, glowy makeup is my go-to year round which is why I love reaching for this liquid highlighter as we transition into the fall. My skin will inevitably get drier as the weather shifts and the hydrating formula helps to give my skin a glowy boost without ever highlighting my dry patches. 

I wear it under my foundation and to highlight the high points of my face. It delivers just what I’m looking for — a healthy glow that doesn’t look shiny or glittery as the day goes on. The way my makeup feels on my skin is very important to me and while some cream highlighters can feel sticky (which I don’t like), this one melts into the skin and becomes undetectable.
