New Product Alert: Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Blush

This season is the season of blush: It’s one of the hottest makeup products at the moment. This power blush is no different: It boasts the same sweatproof, transfer-resistant formula that wears for up to 24 hours. Read on to learn how to use it in your makeup routine with the rest of the L’Oréal Paris Infallible makeup line.  

What Is Infallible Blush?

The L’Oréal Paris Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Blush is the latest addition to L’Oréal Paris’s fan-favorite Infallible line. The formula feels lightweight and sits on the skin without looking cakey or powdery. It has a soft matte, natural-looking finish, that all skin types can appreciate (for dry skin people, it doesn’t emphasize skin texture or dry patches in the way a shimmery blush might). One thing to note about this blush is that it’s extremely pigmented: One light dip of your brush in the compact is all you need for gorgeous, mega-flushed cheekbones. 

While blush typically fades from your makeup look the fastest, the nice thing about this formula is it resists transfer, water, heat and sweat for the ultimate long-wearing finish. This means it stays put until you decide to wash your makeup off, so consider it festival-friendly and hot weather-approved.

How to Use Infallible Blush

Here’s how to use the Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Blush with the rest of the Infallible makeup line for a sweatproof, smudge-resistant and ultra-long-wearing makeup look. 

Step 1. Prime your skin and apply your long-wearing foundation of choice. If you have oily skin try the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Foundation in a Powder. Apply this powder foundation with a blush brush for seamless, natural-looking coverage. If you have dry skin, try the L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 Hour Fresh Wear Foundation and apply it with a damp makeup sponge for a glowy, hydrated skin finish.

Step 2. If you need some more coverage, follow up with the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Full Wear Concealer up to 24H Full Coverage. You can also use a shade that’s two shades lighter to highlight your face, or use a shade that’s two shades darker to contour. 

Step 3. After your foundation and concealer are applied, grab the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Bronzer and a clean fluffy brush, and apply it to the forehead, under the cheekbones and the jawline in a ‘3’ shape. This easy hack is a great way to give your complexion some bronzed color and give your face some sculpting simultaneously.

Step 4. Take the Infallible Up to 24H Fresh Wear Soft Matte Blush in your shade of choice and a clean powder brush. Lightly dip the brush in your compact and gently swirl it onto your cheekbones, taking it upwards toward the hairline at a 45-degree angle to give your visage a lifted effect. Remember, it’s easier to add more blush than it is to remove it, so dip your brush lightly in the compact initially, and layer on more blush as you see fit.
