The hype around Lumi Glotion is well-deserved. I dotted a little bit of the primer onto my finger and applied it along my cheekbones — it was so easy to blend out, I didn't even need to reach for a brush. It gave me such a warm, natural-looking flush I even applied a tiny bit on the crease of my eyelids to give my skin an all-over glow. The formula is really buildable, which I like because I can add a little at a time until I have my desired look. I don't wear much foundation during the spring and summer, so this glowy primer and some blush are perfect for my everyday look. I can't wait to use it all season long.

I used the Lumi Glotion as a primer, before applying foundation, just like Alix Earle and I won’t be doing my makeup any other way going forward. This priming lotion delivers everything I want for my makeup: bronze color and a luminous glow with a hydrating base. Compared to some other high-end primers I’ve tried, this one is just as good (for a fraction of the price) and I really like that it doesn’t have large flecks of glitter or a lingering greasy residue. It’s definitely going to be a staple for my summer beauty routine because I love sun-kissed-looking skin, but you won’t ever catch me tanning my face in the sun.

I had high hopes for this product and it did not disappoint. I first used Lumi Glotion as a primer before my foundation. It added a glowy and bronzed look that I can’t quite accomplish with just foundation on its own, which is what I love about it. After I put on my foundation and blush, I added small dots to my cheekbones and nose for a bronzy, highlighted look. The best kind of products are ones that you can use in many different ways so naturally; I’m a big fan of this one. Overall, I'm happy with how my look turned out and I think this will be a perfect staple in my makeup bag for spring and summer.

There’s something that’s so classic about a bronzed glow for the summer and this might be the perfect product for that. I’ve been seeing people use the L’Oréal Lumi Glotion under their foundation for a glowy base, so I decided to test that out for myself. Having a deeper complexion, I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to get a similar effect to others who looked like they just spent a day out in the sun. That said, I applied the product all over the highest points of my face then followed up with my foundation —- I was impressed. I had a luminous glow that lasted all day. I definitely feel like this glow primer might just be a staple in my routine for the summer.

During the warmer months, I love to give my skin a little boost of radiance and color with makeup, so I’m always on the hunt for a bronzer or highlighter that gives me that desired effect. I applied the Lumi Glotion as a bronzer-slash-highlighter over my foundation, and it immediately warmed up my complexion. I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my makeup routine, so I also appreciated how I could quickly apply it and blend it with my fingertips. I can already tell that I’m going to be leaning on this drugstore option to give me that sun-kissed look all summer long — and since it’s so reasonably priced, I don’t have to feel guilty about adding it to my cart over and over again.
