Castor Oil Skin Benefits:

Castor oil is extracted from crushed seeds of the Castor plant, and is comprised of 90% ricinoleic acid, a hydroxyl containing fatty acids. These fatty acids provide emollient properties that help minimize moisture loss, thus improving skin hydration. For this reason, castor oil skin care products often include lotions, creams, and moisturizers. Utilizing castor oil for dry skin provides hydrating effects, leaving skin to feel soft and smooth. 12
